Aether asks for one Google permission: read-only access to Google Drive (drive.readonly). It uses this only to list the folders and audio files in your own music library and to play those files.
Aether has no server. Everything it uses stays on the devices you install it on (for example your TV, phone or browser): your Google sign-in token, a list of your albums, and small cover-art thumbnails so they don't have to be re-downloaded. Audio is downloaded to the device's memory for playback and is not saved.
Nothing. Aether does not collect analytics, does not send your data to the developer or to any third party, and does not sell or share your information.
Aether's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke Aether's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored on that device.
